Hi all you 'techies' ( I am most definitely not one )
Has anybody fitted one of these fridge fans to help with high external temp affecting fridge performance.
Is it an easy job wiring it in to 12v source etc etc?
TIA

I have just bought one, it haven't fitted it yet. Looks very simple, just one set of wires to connect from the control box, which will be fitted into the van via a hole I have yet to drill! Just connect to a live 12v feed and done, I hope !!!

Fitted a Vento a couple of weeks ago. I was fortunate in finding a 12V supply I could tap in to behind the fridge lower vent. I put a 5A fuse in-line. Threading the control wire through to the panel location was the trickiest part. We've had 35C out here in the Lot today and it's been working well.

As @funflair said, I fitted a CBE one a couple of weeks ago. Only a matter of drilling a hole for the control box, picking a 12v feed up and fitting an in line fuse.

I would add that the green light is very bright so stick the controller in a cupboard.
