Hi

I wanted to book an AA inspection for a motorhome I’m buying. The owner lives in Cumbria (near Keswick) but the AA say they do not cover this area.

Anyone know a different company I can use please? I’m looking for an engine / chassis inspection rather than a hab check, which is why I tried the AA

Maybe a mobile motorhome service engineer is your best bet?

Just contact your local garage mechanic. Best for someone recommended and honest. I just use the local lads who service my vehicles.

You could try Adventure Leisure vehicles based near Tebay services. A Hymer dealer but sell all sorts.

the AA dont do surveys in that postcode and the RAC dont do vans over 3.5T - i had no idea it was that complicated
