what do you need to know most of the first pic has english and french
All I am looking for is really anything I need to know on the actual inverter as not having had one before I want to understand how it works for when I have mains on etc etc - the dealer have a very brief explanation (in Spanish 😂) and I got most of it but me being me just wanted to read through and throughly understand

If its a French make, try changing you Google settings to Google france and see if it comes up, I have done this occasionally and have had results, Google English is weighted to usa, English speaking or .com, .UK. France focuses more on .fr. might work might not, don't know till you try.

The inverter is fairly self explanatory how it has been wired is another question that probably even the dealer won't know.

3 basic ways of wiring an inverter:-
1) The output is wired to separate mains sockets, these sockets are live when the inverter is on, all other sockets work as normal.

2) The inverter output is wired to a changeover relay so when the inverter is on all the sockets in the van are powered by the inverter, when it is off & you have EHU they work as normal. The fridge and charger are not connected to the inverter.

3) wired similar to 2 but fridge & charger left in the circuit so you must turn them off when the inverter is in use.

Another point do you have enough battery power to run a 2000 watt inverter as at full power you will need a battery bank of 900ah if you want your batteries to last or for occasional use 600ah.

Thankyou, that makes some sense, from what you have said mine is option 2, the air con runs from the inverter but not the fridge, albeit he did say don’t run the air con for too long. As for batteries, all I know is it has 2 new 100amp batteries fitted

Thanks again

I wouldn't use the aircon at all with only 200ah of batteries they will be shot in no time. If you plan on running the aircon off-grid you really should fit Lithium even with them you will need more than 200ah.
