Apologies if this isn’t the right forum.

My 2009 Hobby Siesta Exclusive T600 was nicked this morning from Rutherglen in Glasgow. No keys left in the van.

Has a distinctive extended cycle carrier on the back to carry a long wheelbase Elliptigo stand up bike. Also has a "puncture wound" on the nearside forward of the gas bottle locker where a crazy French man drove into it. The hole is patched wth white and black duct tape. According to my daughter (who was borrowing it) it has only three wheel trims. (It had 4 when I gave it to her!!). Also has a 10cm diameter number sticker on the back for the Osten transporter bridge

Police and insurance company informed. At some point, someone will probably ask me “what was it worth?” Any idea how you value a van of this age. (About 35,000 miles on the clock).

Oh dear oh dear, another Transit.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your motorhome, it must be gutting, have you searched the locality ? apparently they are often parked up nearby for a couple of days in case there is a tracker fitted.
Good luck getting it back or replaced (y)

Gutted for you, hope its distinctiveness helps recover.

Good luck in locating it and getting back in respectable condition.

Not that many miles away from me, i will keep my eye out in Nth Lanarkshire. have you had a look around Rutherglen and Duchess Road industrial estates? sometimes the thieves park them up for a few days to see if they have a tracker on.

Sorry to hear your unfortunate and annoying news. :(
Hope it might turn up soon.

IF you get lucky and find your van, speak to an expert and get the drivers lock changed to a non hikey version and fit an obd port blocker. The tool to unlock your van door are available cheap on ebay. Then download some free software and buy a usb to OBD cable, and you are equipped to steal any transit van.

Sorry to hear that, it happened to us, we were very lucky and we recovered it.
hopefully you will too

Heart goes out to you. What an awful scenario. Hope it is resolved quickly

I'll keep my eyes open in case it heads for the Irish ferries.

Eyes open here but miles away , you never know.

Sorry to hear that, will keep a lookout on the north side of Glasgow.
