There was a thread sometime ago, regarding specialist M H valeting.
My Brother in law`s MH has been standing since this time last year , due to ill health. He is now making a remarkable recovery after a heart transplant 5 weeks ago.
He is understandably concerned about the state of his MH, and wants it completely valeted.
He lives near Warrington, and I wondered if anyone knows of a company experienced in MH or caravan body cleaning and polishing to a professional standard in that area, who could do it on site.

Thanks for your help.

That's good news about your brother in law. Sorry can't help with name of company as we are is Scottish Borders but this bumps your post up again as sure someone must know a company in his area.

I am too short and arthritis to wash mine, so a couple of places I have been I just googled Motorhome Valeting for the appropriate area and was pleased with what they did.

If no one responds with a recommendation it might be worth a go

For several years I have used the services of a local mobile valeter but he is too busy to get mine done before we go away next week. Shame as he is very thorough and only charges me £100 to wash and polish the outside.

I called in to one of those hand car wash places and showed them a picture of our RV and TOAD. I explained that I wanted the RV washed and polished and that the picture of the TOAD was to give them an idea of the size of the RV. The chap told me to bring it along any time, they would need 5 hours, and it would be £35.

Next Wednesday is the day it is going so as to be nice and shiny for our next trip.

I had mine restored prior to selling by www.tourershine.co.uk, they come to you, and did a fantastic job.

If anyone is in the Berkshire area this was the guy I used. They call out and bring everything with them and I can highly recommend the quality of the work plus I thought the price was very reasonable for the work they put in.

Nooooooooo. Don't do it, they will ruin your paintwork.

The problem with hand car washes, normally staffed by Easter Europeans, is that they use traffic film remover, this strips the top layer of paintwork off to leave a clean looking, but damaged finish

They buy this neat and dilute to use. The stronger they make it the easier it is to clean the van, but the more damage it does, so guess how strong they mix it. It's the same solution they use to clean wheels.

There is a reason these people are cheaper than a "proper" valeter

Save your money, save your paintwork, and don't go..
