I've got a 2016 Burstner Nexxo 720 based on a Fiat Ducato. In the cab there is a USB charging point next to a cigarette lighter, neither of which are live when the ignition isn't on. I would like to rectify this. Has anyone done this and how did you do it? On a different matter I have a couple of rocker switches on the dashboard, one to the left of the steering wheel, which allows the radio to be used with the ignition off and one to the right for which I have no idea of its use. Does anyone have any idea, I can't find any reference to it in either the vehicle or motorhome handbook. Hope someone can help.

I've added extra USB points to my Bürstner wired direct to the leisure batteries.

They probably aren't live so that you dont drain your engine battery.

Brilliant solution from the master🙏Techno:

Self explanatory pictures.
heavy duty double insulated 2.5mm 2 core flex, 15 amp fuse and a few crimps.

On my Hymer, the Elektroblock 12V distribution box is located in a small cupboard just to the right of the driver's seat. It is very convenient to utilise spare circuits on this to power additional 12V sockets at the front from the leisure battery. Is your EBL is suitably located?

Thanks for all your replies, think I'll just have to fiddle around under the dashboard to see if I can alter the power supply otherwise I'll just add a couple more chargers and wire them in to the leisure battery.
Thanks again for taking the time to reply
