Morning all,
Can anyone recommend a good reliable portable tyre inflator that can cope with both the high pressure and volume required and won't disintegrate after 5 minutes use like my recent purchase 😫

T-MAX - works a treat, not cheap but you wont ever replace it.

I bought this one from Amazon.

Worked well so far, is a nice compact design and seems well put together. Only problem is that, for a motorhome, you need a 12v cigarette lighter type extension lead to reach the rear wheels. I think that will apply to most though as they are generally designed with cars in mind.

Have a look in the boot of your own car, the tyre inflator which comes with many cars are superb.
They're usually made by Continental, I wouldn't leave the door without one & they are plentiful on Ebay.

Please name the one that disintegrated, I think we'd all like to know.

The smaller T Max from JGS 4x4 for £75 does the job.

Hi Ambulance kid
What search works on ebay, I have tried a few and found none.

I have a tyre inflator from a Kea that copes with the tyre pressures on our Rienza.
I have a larger T Max that I used to keep in the Landrovers but it’s a big bulky for occasional use in the motorhome.

Thanks folks for all the feedback I think I'll go for the T Max.

Photos attached of the one that packed in on me so steer clear

You won’t regret buying the T Max if mines anything to go by. I can’t rember how old it is but it has lived in the back of all the Landrovers and been used in muck and mud and often buried under straps chains and shackles.
It managed four tyres on Discovery that some low life deflated all four tyres. It was a bit warm at the end but lived on.

Just bought a Ring 900

Pressures 25 on one 35 on other - both to 58 in a couple of minutes (y)
