Hi Graham, we are in your area tomorrow heading down the N10 towards the Somport tunnel on our way to Beni for the winter.
We are on the Marboue aire, south of Chartres tonight, depending on how we get on we may need a stop for the night, what could be better than a few refreshments with friends, so is it OK to call in if we can tomorrow?(y)
Cheers
Ed
Hi Eddie.
Yes of course it is. Look forward to seeing you. :france:

What’s the star lot in the auction then?
One us a hand made Air Ambulance Meerkat. .a definite Must Have for collectors. ...but there are loads of other I Want That items too.

First event at Twin Lakes, France...our Welcome Cheese and Wine evening followed by a Quiz made up by Mike and Julie.
Who would have thought that Funsters would still be hyper during the almost three hour quiz must have been the wine flowing.
Thanks to all who came and help raise 63E for the Air Ambulance and to Julie and Mike for doing the quiz. Also to Garry, Belinda and everyone who gave prizes and cheese for the evening.

We had better bring our boules on Saturday, it's been the same temperature in Les Eduts.

Another fine fish caught by Glenn and Mena who had the catch of today when she caught a French intruder into our motorhome. One was returned the other eaten.

We shall still be arriving Saturday until Tuesday. If you have EHU it would be appreciated. We have never needed it, but as the MH is new and has only been used for one night we are not 100% sure how the batteries will stand up. If the weather stays like it is today the only power needed will be for fan and fridge. If it snows by Saturday we may need heating as well!!

When were those photos taken?
1933h 10/9/18. I flew over and took the photos, there are not too great as there was a rather strange haze present at the time. I flew over the site a couple of times but could see no-one around, guessing you were all taking refreshments after the hot day.

We were going to call in for a night or two with you all but circumstances have again overtaken us van's poorly and in the garage. We may still manage to call in to say hello in the car, we live just up the road in Virollet 17260

Ah. Mystery solved. We were looking in every corner of the site for you. Everyone was showering ready for the Mr & Mrs. Be good to see you if you do get time.
