All the gear, and no idea!
Just a warning wifey has just had tv licence scam via txt, saying they was unable to process the last bill, her Niece has had the same txt as has a colleague at work it ends in .-com

We've had that one this week and also one saying we'd won the postcode lottery, even though we're not in it.

"They' keep trying.

I have had the emails too.

No problem though, I have given them my bank details so all is good.

Well I think it is cos I am watching the footie:xThumb:

An neighbour has just been round as "Jim Smith" just asked her to buy some itunes vouchers for him and explained how to rub off the code, take a photo and text it to him. I told her it was a scam but she was worried as the local Minister has the name "Jim Smith" and to start with she really did think it was from him.

Easy to see why people get conned. If the scammer had asked for a smaller amount (say £20 or £50 - he asked for £300) I think she would have done it.

I have advised her to notify the police.
