What are you supposed to do with the mattress when it's all folded up? Especially if you're using it to carry other junk.

7 years followed by a break of 11 years and then 4+ years but given up now
Apart from the above comments it's not a cheap option. The cost in the states is $3499 or £2664.28 plus the cost of getting it here. Having said that it seems an interesting thing but I do wonder who would want to use it.

I think its great!

We saw a family yesterday... the woman was riding a huge touring bike with a child riding pillion. The guy had a Goldwing which was pulling a small caravan. Have wheels will travel :D

No,not for me,but i would favour a Tent like structure on a Roof rack,like the L/Rovers,at least you could get out with a rope spanner/knife

like this mind i,m towing my tear drop caravan as well.
still have the tent and the teardrop.
its a brownchurch roof tent .
its actually the one that used to be in their advert pics . they adapted the carrier for my vw rack. mind it was 20yrs ago. ha ha .

here on my old bongo. again tear on tow as well.
this was at a bongo fury meeting .
very adaptable are roof tents .

Now I am on the wrong side of a couple of bottles of wine but I quite like the idea not for me but maybe a surfer/ outdoor type on a pick up with surfboards/ mountain bikes I think it would be quite cool .
