When in winter mode with the space heater running on gas the heater works fine for a while and will then slow down and splutter to a stop and then the red red light comes on and the heater will not restart until the entire van power is recycled. No amount of turning off / on or up/ down helps. Has anyone else experienced this. It's in our 2006 Rapido 987M.

I think the red light might be gas fault ?
Assuming you have plenty of gas, could it be the regulator faulty

How well are they charged? Low power?

Sounds like low voltage.
I think red light on is low volts, flashing is no gas.

Can you try heating whilst van plugged into EHU?

You may be getting a volt drop at the heater due to a poor connection or faulty fuse.

Fixed red light, gas fault. Flashing red light low 12 volt supply.
