Can't believe it's only 22 days til we leave the UK for our beloved french hols !! Last year was marred by stress about having our conversion finished in time and a dislocated shoulder. This year we've had much more time to do rough plans.

Aim is to hit the Toll roads this time to head off very quickly down to either Dijon, Limoges or similar then on the next day to spend 10 days exploring Nice, Monaco, Antibes, Orange, Carcassonne etc. Basically the med coast. If hubby not too tired we'll just head straight down nr Orange as it looks amazing. Hubby hoping to drive on the Millau bridge going down or up.

Will use combination of ACSI and aires. Any other funsters down that way ? We really shld get around to ordering a sticker :/

We get the ferry on 13th and heading down to St tropez/Cannes/ Provence then back up towards Calais to come home. We're there for 16 nights. We have our funster sticker and a flag so if you see us come and say hi. We are travelling in a group of 10 of us, 2 funsters included ... U.S. And old soldier

Went both over and under the Millau bridge last month - fabulous. Cost to go over was 11.20 euro and then we went on a great boat trip which took us under the bridge - really worth doing. ENJOY - wish we were going back.

Sailing on the ferry to Roscoff last week of June and then following west coast of France into Spain , having a mooch around that neck of the woods before trundling back up through the centre and to Normandy then booking a return one day at the end of July from Le Harve or Caen or Cherbourg - not sure yet as we havent booked a reeturn ticket.
Havent got a "Funster" sticker but do have a Blue Hand on the front. Looking forward to advice from others and be great to meet anyone en route too please

Fantastic !! Might look at that ourselves :D

Through the tunnel on the 2nd of June for 3 or 4 weeks, heading to Alpe d'huez in the French Alps through Switzerland on the way, then a hop over the border into Italy to Venice for a few days, then down to Genoa and follow the coast back into France to Monaco, then carry on down the coast to Andorra, then up to the Pyrenees to Lourdes, then Bordeaux and follow the coast back to the tunnel and home(y) That's a rough plan but could change at any time:D
