Hi guys we are in Inverness on a site we were going to travel to Perth area today do you think we ought to stay put another day regards ste

Hi,the last time I done that same trip I was stuck behind a snowplough for miles and miles ,I would wait another day as the winds forecast for Scotland are very strong today so why not relax.

Yep. What Mike said. 75mph side winds on the A9 are best avoided when in a car, far less a motorhome.

Living not far from Inverness and it's just started to blow really hard. Some parts of the A9 are very exposed and elevated.

STAY PUT until at least tomorrow.
