Hello
can anyone recommend any travel towels, that are lightweight, quick drying for body and afterwards?

The Microfibre bath towels are great, we bought ours at one of the Motorhome shows, just checked and isn’t a label on them. Our‘s do dry you quickly and then are dry themselves in 2 our in our UK climate

Only use 12” microfibre to small to call towels but ge most of water of then a normal towel to finish that goes over a rail in bathroom to dry it gets wetter when you dry your hands after washing them

We have a set of Gelert microfibre towels each. They do 3 sizes. Take no room at all. I think they dry me better after a shower. Not as cost as a proper towel but very efficient and dry in no time after use.

Miro fibre so easy dry and is a smock so convenient to walk back from toilet block

I assume that 'cost' was a typo for cosy.

Not denigrating the efficiency of microfibre but give me nice thick towelling towel to get dry and then put on a warm towelling material bath robe - just as we do at home, so life feels as though we are in our motorhome. We really do not make any concessions when travelling - we use real glasses, proper plates, 2 x king-size beds with same bedding as at home(duplicated - as with everything(other than fresh food), cannot be bothered having to pack everything.

Our bath-size thick towels dry quite well on the wing mirrors, or if travelling, with the bathroom hatch cracked open.

Mountain warehouse do some good micr fibre towels as do decathlon if your in Europe… but don’t wash them with conditioner and this is very important…..

DO NOT EVER DROP A MICRO FIBRE TOWEL as it picks up everything and you’ll picking out dirt for years…😎

We have some lifeventure branded microfibre ones which are more ‘towel’ like, we bought them 15 years ago and they are still looking good.

As others have said, we have never washed them in fabric conditioner.

Personally I loathe micro fibre towels, and always use 'normal' towels when camping. I have thinner ones than the ones I use at home, but they do the job just as well and dry pretty quickly.
I do carry a microfibre one for emergencies, in the bottom of my travel clothes bag. Since the time I arrived in The Netherlands to discover I'd left my towel at home... and yes, of course I realise you can buy towels in Holland, and I did so, but it was an inconvenience when first there!

We use Decathlon microfibre towels. They don’t feel as nice as thick Egyptian cotton, but dry quickly. It’s not even the drying of big towels on a long trip, but the washing! I can wash our towels by hand regularly, & they dry quickly to use next time. I got a microfibre robe with a hood from Decathlon for those times when you have nowhere dry to put your clothes in the shower. I just pretend I am invisible when walking to the block from the van! 😀

I’d rather have proper towels of course but storage in a PVC is limited so I’ve just got used to the microfibres ones. I prefer the flat ones rather than the pretend fluffy ones as they can be a devil for hitching my nails. Most of ours were just cheap ones in Sports Direct, had them years. Bath size and hand towels.

The really good thing about microfibre towels is that they dry in a fraction of the time it takes a terry towel, and our Lifeventure items easily perform as good.

Decathlon microfibre towels. Do the job and dry quickly.
These are superb. Buy the fluffy ones. Have used them at home and in motorhome for 5 years. Visited Decathlon store in Brighton yesterday and the bath sheet size costs £14.99. They do come in various sizes and you can buy online.

Where are these available from please !!
They often sell ones like that Decathlon otherwise the Driathlon from Charlie McLeod is popular with swimmers .

Largest fluffy ones for after a shower, medium non-fluffy ones for hand-towels. Small non-fluffy ones to wipe down the shower after use.

I'll ask the wife when she gets in 99% sure from Amazon

Another thumbs-up(y) for Mountain Warehouse micro-fibre towels - we use them for ourselves, and for drying the dogs (not the same towels, obvs.!!;))

Just take a roll of one sheet…. Multiple uses throughout the MOHO… just don’t put it down the loo…!
