Yeah its normally free from mid October.

Although I don't think I've paid for a nights camping there for about 12 years , I know James the owner very well my parents had been going there since the times when his dad owned the site ....my father's ashes are actually scattered on that beach as it was one of his favourite places, just make sure you never visit while the Highland farmers games are on as you won't get any sleep lol

No did not make it over Tamb as we had the dog as the teenager did bot want to spend the time on bus and wanted to stay extra in Ullapool. We will be back to do that though (y)
It's well worth a visit :)

Glad to hear the caves reopened last time I was up it was all fenced of and they had bits all dug up at the top.not sure what they were doing but was a right mess.

Saw the sign post for the cemetery but after doing my family tree I'm a bit over cemeterised and other half wouldn't appreciate the diversion. This Beach ? at Durness ?View attachment 39152

I'm Learning
I worked in Ayr for eight months and was treated by everyone as family. We rented a hotel bungalow in Ayr but were invited to stop at so many peoples houses that we might as well not rented it because we stopped at so many of our new found friends houses as guests, and treated really well.
Great people , great times, will be back as soon as I can.
