touch up paint

Sorry dont know if anyone can help. I am trying to get some touch up paint for my campervan but there is no paint number disclosed on the plates on the frame. Does any body know of firms who have colour match charts so I can take it out to my campervan. I tried Halfords but they do not have one and said bring the number in..many thanks

Find out where the respray trade get paint locally.
They will have a mixing scheme and all you need is a small sample of existing colour to get an accurate mix.....often in an aerosol if that's appropriate.
Paint codes are ok but don't take into account age and fading/weathering.
Because it's for a motorhome you may have to take a very large sample.. .the whole van or maybe a locker door

I used the correct touch up paint by paint code on some little scratches, and the match isn't brilliant no doubt due to weathering. Still looks better than scratches though.
