Last week we sold our Adria 660sp to a couple in Hull and were coming to pick it up this Saturday. Just received a call that they are pulling out. :Angry:

This makes me sooooooooo angry.

Sorry, I just had to let off steam.

Know the feeling well, Maddie - we keep a special bag of straw (scarecrow) in the basement and we give him absolute 'hell' when somebody lets us down :Angry:

Trouble is, I'm sure he can mind read because everytime we go looking for him now, he has disappeared to somewhere else

Stupidly enough, we did not have a deposit.
After they had seen it twice, they went away and called me a couple of days later to tell me that they wanted it. As they are in Hull and we live near Heathrow, we did not get a deposit.
Yes, the next buyers will have to give me one ( I meant a deposit )

Sorry your sale has fallen through Maddie, but hopefully you will find new buyers soon.
When you take a deposit from your next buyers, make sure they sign the receipt as non refundable if goods are not paid for in full at £... and collected by...... That should do it!!

hi Maddie, when snelly on facts was looking for a motorhome he found one near Ipswich and asked me to view it for him, I phoned the guy and he said sorry just taken a £500 deposit on it, next day he phoned me back, the people had gone home and decided it wouldn't fit in their drive, apologised and told him to keep the deposit.

He said this was the second time this had happened, and he was making good money out of not selling it. Before I had a chance to see it he did actually sell it.

Hi Ian,

Maybe this is something that had to be.
But I did so much for them ( because I am just a very nice Dutch girl ) and he even rang yesterday to tell me they were coming on Saturday.
I have the feeling they could not get the money together.

I have calmed down now as this is not good for me all this excitement.
I did not need it after my last operation , which was only 5 weeks ago. But hey ho on we go. :thumb:
