Sad I know flicking through tv channels, came across Time Tunnel, they are at Krakatoa before the eruption, so where in history would you like to go. As long as I could come back, Rome during the Roman empire would be interesting, wouldn't have wanted to be anything but a senator or higher up though. What about you.

It was amazing what they achieved and set the tone for the next 2000 years or more.

The rich get everything, the poor get just enough to stop them ganging up on the rich.

There might have been a little glitch in France a while ago but it's still situation normal.

Dickydo, don't sympathise, as a west ham supporter you know what your getting, but this year the performances have been awful, but at the moment it all pales into inconsequence.

Actually seems no worse than the original Star Trek series

Personally I would go to:

December 17, 1903, Kill Devil Hills, about four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina and watch the Wright brothers fly.

I managed to get a ticket to the 100th anniversary of that flight at Kill Devil Hills, where among other activities, was a full size replica of the aircraft which they intended to fly. A mass drop of 100 parachutist was impressive.
