I'm a newbie
Used but in good condition and very hardwearing. Will also fit the following awnings G2 5002, 5500, 5800.

It is supplied in two large black bags so not really suitable for posting. I live in Bournemouth if anybody would like to collect.

Another one for peanuts. I bought one off a FUNster, they are fantastically well made and work a treat. First time to assemble was a pain but after that it's easy, we moved pitch in Benidorm and had it down and up in no time.

We could not have managed 5 weeks in Benidorm without it.

Hi Brian,

Yes they are a great piece of kit if you have room to store them while travelling. I bought this one off eBay for significantly more than this but it was incorrectly advertised as 3.5m so it's no use to me.

Cheers

I too have one. Paid almost a grand for it and it's worth every penny. Made to last a lifetime and a brilliant piece of kit.

I also bought one half a metre too wide, deliberately. I thought I'd work out how to narrow it and I did.

I unpicked 4 ( I think ) seams, chopped 500mm out and got a local upholsterer to stitch it back up. You could hardly tell to look at it. He asked for £15, I gave him £20 and took off delighted.

You are right about the weight but that goes with the quality.

I thought about that but it turned out that my awning stretches above the trim near the cab door so the support wouldn't be flush against the bodywork.

Oh well, you lose but another FUNster can benefit.
