Saw this monster on a site near Shrewsbury yesterday. Complete with rattan furniture and plants in pots outside the door!

Lovely looking van. I wonder if they actually use it to its full potential. Some large RVs are just for posing.

Must be a lottery winner

Want it could have put A frame on the ML-T and had best rig ever , instead massive comprise will be in my possession soon watch this space.?

Not sure they'll get much use out of the patio set and parasol this week in the Shropshire rain

We ended up in Shrewsbury at the end of a 3 week tour of Anglesey and north and mid wales. Surprisingly it wasn’t that wet. I wouldn’t have wanted to take that big bus through some of the places we’ve been!

You can start by the bridge in town centre :)

Not sure what you're taking but you might want to lay off it as I haven't a clue what you're on about! :giggle:

Could it be that a motorhome funster actually won the £170m lottery & are keeping quiet???

Do you really think that they'd be able to do that with all the NMCs on here! :giggle:

But where on earth do you go with a rig like that - A roads and motorways only - and big campsites?? Not for me even if I could afford it. Each to their own of course!

Or am I just envious?

Is that the Oxon Hall site? If so it doesn't look like it moves very far as it was there, set up as shown, at the beginning of August. If I remember correctly, it had a bike rack on the back. Obviously no room anywhere else!

I’d love one but not ideal for doing the NC500 and particularly over the Bealach na Ba over to Applecross. There would be some puckering me thinks.

These comments always make me smile, so no buses, no lorries supplying food, sewerage, fuel ect? If a lorry can get there so can we.

This used to be mine, 40ft long with bike rack on back. We live in Devon and it never stopped us going anywhere with it. Like has been said, buses bin lorries, delivery lorries etc do not

Fair point! But our recent trip to New Zealand and Australia where we hired Sprinter based PVC's for 3 months convinced us that now was the time to downsize our (modestly sized) A class for a 6.4m van conversion. We just loved the freedom and flexibility of being able to explore pretty much anywhere and stop by remote beaches and lakes. I guess it just depends upon what type of vanlife you want to experience - and that's the great thing about all this - variety and choice.
