60,000kms and it looks pretty unmolested.

Vehicle description according to the provider

Very nice Clou Liner with the good engine from MAN
probably one of the last of its kind.

Seats listed 4
air- cushioned seats, cruise control,
toilet with tank,
generator start from the inside!
2x air conditioning
etc etc:

retrofitted the last 5 years: lifting support system, & roof air conditioning & digital television at Nießmann.

Very tidy but definitely too expensive at €85k for a 2003 middle. They'll never get that for it in a month of Sundays imo.

Is that a six @220ps Jon? wasn't Phils 180ps? Fridge must be compressor as no vents either side? and 7500kg with glass windows 2 x clima generator etc etc?

If it’s in excellent condition then maybe a bit too expensive but pure quality.

I could have bought one, a 2006 750 AS, immaculate, a few years ago for 49000 euros just shows you how prices have gone up.

But it's so ugly and has a silly name. What happened to the 'd' in Cloud?
:imoutahere:
Ugly? well thats just a personal opinion ;) I love them, if it were mine I would put some nicer wheels on it for sure but putting a "d" on the name would be plain silly but I suppose if it was your van you could do whatever you wanted.

Spent most of its life sitting around only averaged 2000 miles a year.

Its the 6 cylinder 220 same as ours. Its not a bad spec although its not the highest spec but not much missing. Yes Martin it will be 7500kgs like so many of the smaller ones are "3500kgs".

He's a Kiwi Martin. If you ve ever seen a NZ Mh you would know where his sense of taste went :ROFLMAO:

Agree about the wheels though.

It is a bit pricey but 6 cylinder MAN's are becoming hard to find.

Does the price really matter as long as you want it and can afford it? if it's a really good example its worth more than a messed about one so I would be prepared to pay over the odds if that was what I was looking for, a few years ago we met a German with a 38 yr old Clou and he said it doesn't really matter what you pay (up to a point of course) as you will spend money keeping them on the road but then you will get your money back when you are finished so just look at it as an investment;)

Yes I agree they are pure quality as I said, just stepping in you get that feeling, I love the smallest 650 Clou was going to buy one.
They don’t make them as good as that anymore, main reasons we bought a 2005 van, they feel a lot more solid that the vast majority of today’s offerings.
We know an American couple who have an old flair and travel back and forth from USA for long tours of Europe then store it at the factory in Polch.

Perhaps it's because 'Clou' in German roughly translates to: High point........Climax..........Ultimate.......Main attraction.

It can also mean the same (or 'nail') in French but it doesn't have much impact for the English.
In Dutch 'Clou' is the punchline of a joke..............

I was thinking you haven’t given an update on your clou it looks perfect, always wanted one .

Now showing 'Dieses Fahrzeug ist nicht mehr verfügbar'

No longer available!

does this mean you can’t ask about something your Interested in if some time has gone by? I’m most surprised.

OK that one is "no longer available" but as you say Flairy you can/or should be able to still ask questions and resurrect the thread, here is another one or two for you, Broken Link Removed

This one has the same interior as the Flair from 2006, I like the leather and the bar but not sure that the Eurocargo is as well respected as MAN or Mercedes,

Do you mean me? The one I posted here was just one for sale on mobile de. I think you've commented on the thread about ours

But yes been doing a few jobs on it, fixing a smelly loo (stem seal) finished repairing and refitted the genny, new uprated shock absorbers ( got a good story about that one) and some mods to the heating controls.

For future reference, you can name someone by putting @ and then start typing their user name and click on it.

Look forward to seeing your Flair sometime.
Jon

I love the one with the blue leather seats... what a classy looking vehicle. It seems exceptional value.

If you recall Martin, our 2006 Clou had the 6 cylinder, 6 Litre, 210bhp engine on the Eurocargo chassis. I was informed that the engine was built by Cummins in collaboration with Iveco. It was a superb engine.
