Our new baby, On a 12 tonne coach chassis, Full air + air seats, 6 cylinder manual with a telma, its as smooth as silk with enough torque to pull a house down. Alde in the body with heat exchangers both ways, 2 x A/cs plus ice cold cab, Efoy, Gas genny etc etc etc. Needs a bit of TLC but absolutely lovely. Worth the wait.

Beautiful John you can feel the quality just by looking at the photos, looks like it's had a new fridge freezer too recently?

Yes Paul, I'm one happy bunny. Yes new fridge/freezer couple of years ago. The previous owner is a big fan of riepperts who have done all the recent work on it. Its spent most of its life under cover so the decals are still pretty good. It does need a bit of TLC but Happy days.

Nice! But 12 tonnes!

That’s a serious piece of kit.

Thanks Ian,

Its on a 12 tonne chassis but plated at 8400kgs apparently you needed to spec the bigger chassis to get the front air. These were built to order and luckily for me there was quite a bit of box ticking done but some of it needs fixing like the built in Gas genny and I have a few electrical gremlins to sort caused by the 12v DC MCB's being left for too long and no longer available.

Woow that looks the dog's whatsits.
Hope it brings you years of fun and hope to see it in the flesh sometime.

Nice one. What will you be putting in the back of it? Will it allow a different choice from your current wheels?

Looks good, hope you have many happy trips in it.

Lovely! And in Luxembourg! :drinks:
Yes, I ended up picking it up from the Coachpark in Thionville and driving around. But yes a few raised eyebrows at the tunnel but they let me through.

Theres a saying that comes to mind “Fir Coat and No Knickers.
It would look a bit out of place on some of the sites we use.

Yes it's exactly what my wife likes to wear, she loves this van and would certainly love to be seen in that too in her fur coat.
I have just shown her the photos.

Not quite sure you have the right saying but anyway there are plenty more sites.

Looks well worth the wait Jon. I am sure that you will enjoy the Clou as much as we enjoyed ours. I do have a full German version of the Clou handbook if you want it.

Thanks for the kind offer, but luckily it has come with 2 handbooks a German and a French version, originally supplied by Opale Evasion, first owner had it 2 years and then 15 years by the chap we bought it off, we re hoping for another 10 years out of it.
