Hi All,

I noticed the toilet flush and warning light had stopped working on a recent trip. I found that the 3A fuse had blown. I've returned to the Moho today and replaced the fuse. All fuses in the Sargent are good, new 3A fuse is good.

It still does not work. There are red and black wires coming into the cassette area where there is magnetic/reed switch and the 3A fuse; I would have expected 12v across the wires but there is nothing.

Everything else is fine.

I'm assuming a wiring issue somewhere but looking for some further ideas / experience of same problem please.

Moho is 2017 AS Corinium Duo on Pug Boxer.

Thank you🙏

It is usually the pump that goes, either jams over winter or when not used for sometime and can be freed if you are lucky by removing and rotating the impeller.
ezee.

Thanks good peeps. Where would I find said solenoid and pump please?

Thanks Lenny HB.

Pump will be under the blue button/ thetford panel I guess... Seems to be sealed so a bit of a faff if so.

In our 1st MH the flush water was self contained and a previous owner had used a Thetford flushing chemical. The impeller had become completely gummed up.

It was a faff getting to it and quite messy so make sure that everything is covered up if you go down that route as the chemical creates hard to remove stains.

Thanks Lenny HB.

Have a good search of the Thetford site they have a lot of info and exploded diagrams. Also worth a look on Youtube.

The panel around the blue button will come off with a bit of persuasion with a flat head screwdriver. This will reveal the impeller. Mine gets stuck occasionally. Sometimes a drive round the block frees it.

Fixed - thanks for the tips as ever (y)

It was pretty black in there, plus the plastic pipe holder has broken so the inlet pipe and pump pipe are just hanging about. I noted the broken bits, one of which was suspiciously close the pump; I'm guessing it got wedged in there (v small hole but v pointy bit of plastic. This could have caused the fuse to blow in the first place.

Anyway, all cleaned out and replaced and working now :dance2:

Pah!!!

The problem came back and it now seems it is the wiring in and from the switch to the pump that is at fault so perhaps it never was the pump getting stuck...? I've fiddled about and it now works so all good for now.

Anyhoo... been and gone a bought a replacement push-button unit that comes pre-wired and I picked up a pump at the NEC, so I'm prepared and will replace both when the time inevitably comes.

Whilst these things are not cheap, it's not too bad if you shop around and the parts seem to be readily available.

One thing I can't find is replacement pipe and pump mounts that hold things in place inside the flush tank - if anyone has any clues where I could find these, I'd be grateful (y)

The pipe from an aquarium shop and the bracket, use a cable tie
