Had 2 good months in Spain but now on France, we planned 3 to 4 weeks getting to Calais but the forecast is rain followed by rain. We're still talking it slowly have to find a vet for rabies injections and worming, but apart from that asap😥

We're going in the opposite direction, we were going to stop at Clermont-Ferrand tomorrow but the rain means we're going straight past now to Millau. Even there it's forecast showers and sunny spells... Roll on Spain 🇪🇸😁☀️

We were in Lyon a couple of days ago and got this ...

Good vet at Buchy for worming and rabies jab.

Couldn’t agree more… This is now two late April/May’s in France that have been, or are forecast to be, a complete washout (bar a couple of days) for us. Wish the jet stream was following its usual course so we could get the standard nice French Spring weather! ☹️

And not rubbing it in but you have missed the best couple of months I think there has ever been in UK.
We did a runner from Spain to France in March to escape the bad weather and luckily had three spring like weeks before heading back to what is usually a wet and windy Peak District. We've only had a couple of days of rain since getting back beginning of April.

Do the vets at Bucky do three year rabies please? Molly needs a booster!

Tilly will be having a 3 year booster at the vet's in Merville-Franceville, near Ouistram later this week. The vet told us that a 3 year booster is standard in France, it's the initial vaccination that is only for 1 year.
Best of luck.

Reasonable in Spain if the right location is chosen....France.,..always thought May was a tad early...🤔

That was our summer in Scotland.

Lovely day today but cooler than in recent days. We could do with some rain, the garden is very dry.

We planned on stopping at Millau but carried on, 10°c black clouds and showers isn't very appealing... In fact it reminds me of somewhere.. 🤔😆
I drove on and we're near Narbonne now 15c and sunny. Spain tomorrow 🇪🇸🤩

FWIW
We are in Dorres just a few miles E of Andorra at present, having travelled from Perpignan two days ago. It’s been mostly grey and dry with the odd burst of sunshine, but there has been little rain.

Yesterday we were even basking in the outdoor Roman hot baths here, listening to cuckoos whilst looking at the snow capped Pyrenees.

So not all doom and gloom here.

Our weather at home since October has been pants! Today, we have blue sky with some high clouds but it's blowing a gale from the NE and very cold!!

When we left the Haut Jura this morning, it was 4°. We are now at Annecy and it's 8°. During the day it reached the giddy heights of 11°. It's promising to get warmer!

We are down from the mountains now and this afternoon it was sunny and 18 Deg. The forecast is 3 rain tomorrow, if that changes we will stay another day, if not we will move on to outside Paris and then onto Calais and home. It's been 2 and a half months and we're ready to go home.
