Breaking a Solar is difficult Barrie, but a plastic roofvent..not so.my MH roof is a little dented in places.Hailstones now and thunder every 2 minutes. Google assures me that hailstones need to be bigger than 1.5 inches before they destroy a solar panel. They're not that big, do I need to worry? Here's a photo, the lighter is for comparison as I have no bananas.

I'll be vigilant don't worry. As seen in the photo they were tiny, pea size maybe, so no worries today.Breaking a Solar is difficult Barrie, but a plastic roofvent..not so.my MH roof is a little dented in places.
A Swiss friend of ours had his MH written off and his restaurant tiled roof severely damaged in the same storm...
I've seen tents torn to tatters...so be careful with the awning..![]()

So now we are in Burgos. No photos of the site as it is one huge great carpark full, and I mean full, there are at least 80 or 90 vans here, and it is awful. But it is free with water services albeit we won't be using them, and almost in the centre of town, and we took a taxi to a wonderful restaurant where we had an excellent lunch. The temperature is once again up in the thirties so we now have the air conditioning on full blast. The battery is good so no problem. We'll probably head on again tomorrow and leave the sight seeing for another day.

Morcilla de Burgos, after all we are in Burgos so it would have been rude not to order this delicatessen.

Lechazo asado en horno de Castilla. This really is the food of gods.

Just a few chips to go with it. There was a lettuce and onion salad too, which is a typical accompaniment for this dish in Spain. But nobody wants or needs to see a photo of salad.

I have no idea why it is so full, there are no ferias or such on right now. I spoke to a local guy here and he said it is always like this, so just popular for the town I guess. As I said, we will not be sight seeing on this occasion, but the Burgos Cathedral is something to behold apparently and there are more attractions too.Why is it so busy? Just volume of normal weekend use or is there a special event on this weekend.
We need to have this sort of info in our planning file
The morcilla looks good. Every time we cook it (and that will be tomorrow as we empty the fridge) it renders down to almost nothing.
You need to cook it on a very high heat and quickly so it holds its own, and take it out the fridge just before cutting the slices. Only ever use Extra Virgen Olive Oil.The morcilla looks good.
