It took me AGES to find suitable outside the van chair(s).
These are only needed by me at Fun Meets and very occasionally when on the road.
Several years ago I saw the "most comfortable (outside) chair in the world" at one of the stands at a show.
Of course I didn't know it was that comfortable yet...
"May I try this chair please?"
"Go ahead... we have just got a batch in for the first time."
I sat in it... brilliant...
"Under each armrest there is a little lever. Pull them up with your fingers..."
I do so and nothing happens...
"Now lean back..."
I do so and back tilts the back and up comes the fully supportive leg rest in one smooth movement and there I am fully reclined. It was so comfortable I nearly fell asleep there and then.
The woman then instructed me in how to adjust the amount of recline just by moving your body and then fixing the position with the little levers.
Now I am not a quiet person and I am practically screaming in delight at finding these chairs. I buy two on the spot (very reasonable at that time) and ask them to keep them on the stand for me to collect later.
When I returned the lady handed over the chairs and said,
"The chair has been sitting there all week and we were beginning to think we would not sell any. Then you come along and try one and make so much noise about it that we have now nearly sold out!"
Those chairs served me well until the bungy cord stuff rotted in the sunlight. (They were always left out in all weathers.)
They sat forlornly outside the Wagon folded up for years.
Until today!
I ordered some 8mm cord online, it arrived yesterday and look...
