Well after a 9 day stay in hospital undergoing IVIG, our youngest daughter Katie was home on Friday and on the mend. We sat over the weekend and made the badges for the ralliers at Lincoln and were looking forward to getting away today for a long weekend.
Sadly it’s not going to happen. Yesterday Katie’s breathing seriously degraded and she was admitted to hospital again. She is going to start Plasma Exchange first thing this morning, which is a form of dialysis that will take place every other day for 10 days. So we face another long stay in Morriston hospital Swansea.
I may make a dash up to Lincoln to give the rally marshals the badges and rally admin tonight, but I won’t be able to stay.
