Are you fitting Skylights ? Great for extra light but mainly for ventilation.

Is this like the old evo stick used to love using it ( it also explains every thing about me)

View attachment 343092Using this glue. It's heat resistant contact adhesive. Did a test piece, makes the aluminium skin rock solid. Also left it out in the rain for a week to see how it dealt with moisture. It's good stuff, very happy with the result.

It's seriously strong shizenpoop. I wouldn't spray it without serious extraction, full body suit, airfed mask... And someone to put that on and do it for me....

many many years! since I was a kid
my dad had his first heart attack in his 20s brought on by using gallons of evo stick in an enclosed space, he was working overnight fitting out a cafe with new formica counters and tables. the doctors said he would have died had a police officer on the beat not spotted him and dragged him out unconscious

nasty stuff

Safetys no accident! Luckily I've been around strong solvents long enough now.

Acid gas and organic vapour masks ?

Found something else you might want mango :D
When we were looking to buy a truck, I looked at an iveco horse box, had one of those pods on the front. Because the cab tilts I think the floor of the pod is removable to allow ow for that. Or at least the one I saw was. It was all leaky and mouldy, put me off the idea straight away.... That and I'm a 6'7" 20stone freak so getting in that little pod is never going to happen ?

P. S. I need to make some poly bushes. Does anyone know where to buy the raw material from? I need 50mm diameter, can't remember the measurement gauge they use... Shore? But I need it tough ??? thanks

If you welded something like a double tubular hoop into the door shuts and straight up inside the roof pod and over to the other side, you could cut the entire rear and roof section of the cab off, insert swivel seats and basically turn it into an A class MH..
Wouldn't use the pod for sleeping, just for extra headroom or maybe some roof mounted pockets of some sort

Not yet, no point til I start actually designing things. Still changing my mind like the wind at the moment. Unsure at the moment whether a 7.5t will be a suitable base vehicle for a 60mm thick 6/7m hab unit. (From reading a blog on expedition vehicles)

KCT windows are mega expensive . There are composite panel manufacturers in UK , that will be quite a bit cheaper than Germany , even then they are not cheap . horse box makers are a good point of contact .
HandyAndy are you thinking 7.5 ton 4x4 ?

The Mrs wants a balcony.... I keep saying why do I have to spend all that time and money just so we can sit a few feet off the floor ??‍♂️
