Many thanks to whoever suggested that I try “Mucho TV” It’s brilliant , thank you. I have even been able pick up every UK. Tv programme and more here in Spain.. I have been using it via my iPad and wired to the MH tv. Of course we have to WiFi which comes via my MiFi dongle, with a large MB card.

I was thinking of buying a satellite , but after working out how much I have to pay per month for Mucho and a large MB card and of course I will only need this while outside the UK . It’s much better value than buying a dish and no heavy dish on the roof.

Thanks for the suggestion I am very pleased with reception in Spain.

Re batteries . At present we are being very careful. We will give the batteries a good test when we travel up to Santander. We know It is colder up there , we will have the tv/radio and heating on. But it seems that we need another solar panel fitted to the roof or a smaller free standing one which we can aim at the sun as the sun is so low here in Spain.

When we are back in the Uk we can spend time with the dealer to do fuller tests.
