We already have these in our van having purchased them at a higher price and they save lots of room being able to unclip the handles. Two years on and they are still like new. Thanks for posting and a good buy for those kitting out a new van.

@Fletton - I have a silicone lid that fits most sizes of pans which I use all the time at home - it is great at preventing boiling over as the design is like a petal and the liquid runs back into the pan. I don’t bother with any other pan lids these days. Take a look on Amazon for spill stopper lids - they really are great and take up no room at all.

Only downside with the above lids is that they are heavy, just try any lids you already have as you'll more than likely find something that'll fit.

Because we had lots of time, we spent last month in France looking for two new everyday pans -- and they also never seem to have lids either.
French pans if they have an handle (they seem to prefer double sided handles) tend to be in metal and bound to get hot - useless
Boiling anything without lids just fill any room with steam - useless.

Came back and decided these will cover all eventualities - complete with lids.
We have replaced our 2 x 18cm pans with 2 x 16cm as we only seem to cook for two now.

Arrived Friday and excellent quality. As the last set lasted 30 years these should be the last pans we ever buy.:Eeek:

Also ------------ have you ever noticed that you can't buy an upright vacuum cleaner in France?
I assume they don't have fitted carpets so they all seem to prefer the simple push types.

A brilliant price. They are not suitable for induction hobs if that helps anyone.

They do sell induction adaptors quite cheaply on EBay/Amazon allowing ordinary cookware to be used on an induction hob

We have a Neff induction hob and we had to buy new pans - Tefal Ingenio.

Hmmmmm says on the website that they are not suitable for induction hobs - it also says so on the box which is why I didn't buy them.

We have these too. However Ingenio are available in both induction and non-induction variants so care is required in your choosing.

That would explain it. Because I saw the "not suitable for induction hobs" on one box I didn't bother to look again.

For anyone that can't find this in their local Morrisons - have a look at Amazon Amazon product ASIN B00QK95WS0 as they have a 7 piece set (3 pans, 3 lids & handle) at £63 but also two in their Warehouse Deals "Like New" for £48.65 & all that should be damaged is the packaging.
