Hi,

We have a lovely dog called Ted (pictured below).

We are heading to Europe later this year and intended on doing 4 months. However, now we are contemplating doing longer. The AHC lasts for 4 months but wondered if we could extend while travelling.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks. John. 😁

Hi John and :pink:
Our boy Joey could be related to Ted as they look so similar.

The consensus of opinion ref' taking fur baby to Eu is to get the AHC to get over there then pick up a European pet passport for the return and future trips. Hope this helps.

Cheers Colin

As others have said get an EU passport in one of the countries you visit over there. No need to worry about ahc then.

Don't forget though that you still need to have him wormed at a vet between 24hrs and 5 days before return to the UK, passport or not.

Oh yes - :welcome4:
