Tam & co the great winter escape

Wow that doesn't happen every day.
Very hippy types ... Dave says with the amount of going back and forth for water she must be having a water birth

Im with billy conollys theory that they are washing there hair. No ambulance or nowt though ...looks like they are opting for the old go it alone approach

I think Ela may have a dose of kennel cough ....the last few nights she has had a couple of spells of coughing where she will give 5 or 6 coughs and a retch at the end. Jade n milo have never done this so its a bit scary sounding at first but having googled to death im pretty sure thats what it is ....it doesn't seem like anything serious and it says it should clear in a week or 2 ...

There’s a lot of kennel cough around at the moment, in the uk anyway, Yoshi has just had it. It sounds awful and he was definitely not his normal self. I think they often recover easily by themselves. We ended up taking him to the vets and they gave him an antibiotic injection and antibiotic tablets and the cough went almost immediately. For the few days before taking him to the vet I gave him 1/2 tsp manuka honey 4 times a day, 1/2 tsp slippery elm powder 3 times a day and 1 tsp infant benylin cough medicine twice a day mixed together. That seemed to help his cough and he really liked it too! He is 31kg.

Yes it seems to say they get over it themselves but if it gets worse ill take her to the vet ...at the minute it only seems to be at night she coughs and only maybe 3 or 4 times consisting of 4 or 5 coughs and a gag at the end .

I was going to try the honey in warm water i saw on tinternet

Yoshi was similar tbh, he didn’t cough that often. Fingers crossed she is better soon

I own a boarding Kennells tam and believe me I know about kennel cough.........the vaccine they put up the nose is just a waste of money, let her lick Manuka honey off a spoon, if it gets worse give her children's bennallin cough syrup, if she goes off her food and goes very lethargic you'll need antibiotics from the vet.........in nine out of ten cases they get over it themselves like we do a cold so I wouldn't worry to much about it pal

Is anyone else having trouble logging into polar steps? It keeps telling me it doesn’t recognise the string, whatever that is, but won’t let me reset my password.
I get a message saying that their site is under maintenance but the tracker is still logging.

Our dogs do exactly the same thing occasionally, none of them have had kennel cough and they usually do it one day a few times but then not again for ages, as with humans sometimes they just have a tickle in the throat. Just see how she goes, you'll know if she is poorly as she'll stop eating and/or wanting to go for a walk etc.

I just get a blank white screen :(
Maybe he's not in Greece at all but has gone to the North Pole to help Santa! :giggle: Or maybe he IS Santa!!! :xThumb:
