Ok so this is last night's stopover ....as I said it's about 6 miles south of North berwick. Just a carpark but it's level , clean and very quiet for overnight stop .....a 2 minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach.

I forgot to start my miles and fuel posts when I left so I'll put that here before the pics.

Stopped for a coffee and a pancake at a right s@1thole of a services ....a wee bit past Leeds , aiming for around Peterborough today I think then I'll stop there tonight ...will tackle the M25 etc tomorrow.( Hate that road )
I've earmarked a small carpark belonging to the village hall that's near the river so if I can get in there that's the plan ...wee walk to the river later.

Looked out for you on the A1 today Tam.
It was a tad windy but a tail wind most of the time which does wonders for the fuel consumption, over 30mpg today.
Those dogs are proper posers when there’s a camera about.

Colonel Dane Memorial Hall ?
The Cuckoo pub is close by if you want/need a pint - not cheap though
...and there's a 'recognised' park-up less than a couple of miles up the main road if you're not comfortable where you are.
