Hi .planning to enter Switzerland at Basel.en route to Garda .Few questions A. does vignette cover St Gothard tunnel? B . do I stay on A2 to Luzern. C. Any campsites recomend in Luzern. Any other suggestions would be appreciated

yes vignette covers st gotthard tunnel, and i would get through swiss without stopping as campsites are expensive. Diesel is/was cheaper in swiss than italy, by quite a bit,,,,,was cheaper in the UK than italy.

we found lots of places to wild park though and were never bothered by anyone.

There is a campsite within walking distance of lucern by the pool.its a great place to visit

If you are over 3.5 tons the you don't need a vignette ..........
A whole load of paperwork instead to fill in at customs ( very easy though)
