Excellent shots.
Also check out the work of Nick Brandt. I first met Nick when he released On This Earth A Shadow Falls, some of his pictures then are in a similar style.

I thought to myself that Williams work looked similar too, however Nick tends to use remote cameras. I have a one of Nicks books.

I have to say I preferred Nick’s earlier work but clearly his clientele have other ideas, his photographs are selling for huge sums. Good luck to him, a great eye for a photograph and the fact he knows he can sell what he produces means he can afford longer in the field, which increases the chances of getting ‘that’ shot. All the kit helps but there’s still no substitute for the eye and the effort.
