Survived the storms last night woken about three times when the gust picked up but a bit hairy. How did you fare?

Quite a non event in Hampshire - wet and wet thing though

A bit windy in North Essex, rained hard at times (according to my ears!!)
Got up at 9am, no wind or rain so walked the dog. Now peeing down, local brook must be at least 1/2" higher !

winds have dropped now but last night was rough, the garden got trashed overnight and some minor flooding locally. The local quaysides and river burst their banks again with idiots risking their lives to take photos of the storm. Right now just occasional light rain

Next door are redoing their kitchen and have placed the old units and stuff against their garage wall between the two of us. I was cursing all night as the wind was making something bang against the wall all night. Went out this morning and it was my gate that was banging, someone hadn't bolted it !

Bit of a non event here in Cornwall. Plenty Rain, wind a tad gusty, but nothing out of theordinary.

Went out to Pendennis Point yesterday, bit windy on the exposed point, a tad chilly but not freezing cold, plenty white caps, but watching the Pilot Boat go through the Heads, she didn't get bounced around to much. Raining at the mo.

It's been very wet and windy here in West Sussex but not as bad as predicted.

The New Forest is looking a bit like the Lake District, could be a lot worse I thought more trees would have come down.
My daughter said she had little sleep in her canal boat, at one point she thought she'd end up on the towpath

Rain in the night by the look of the fields,,little breezy but didnt warrant a weather warning,,BUSBY.

Very wet and quite windy here in sunny mid Essex

The ground is very wet here (North Wales) this morning. The lawns are absolutely waterlogged due to the clay soil. There were a couple of short power interruptions during the evening. Very windy but thankfully no obvious property damage other than a couple of fence panels down.

Storm?, What Storm, Went to the pub last night, Bloke said "What about the wind then?". I just said "Sorry mate, it must be the 3 pints of Black Sheep I just supped". F 6 possible gust 7? That`s never a storm!. Argh, Jim lad, 3 weeks on one wave, then it really got rough!:rofl:.

All joking aside. I Have a shed load of sympathy though for the folk who are now flooded out for the 3rd time in the last year!. The EA have a lot to answer for!

We had one big squall that went down the back of the house it ripped off the doors on my sheed and blew the garden stuff around
bill

Very gusty here in Bishop's Stortford, shorter and not as strong as Ciara, but there was some damage in our local wood.
