Still trouble with electrics!

Have been having trouble with my electrics.

Main trouble is now is while been connected to the mains power, the batteries don’t seem to be charging up.

What should I be checking?

Check the charger is in fact charging the batteries.. use a multimeter and check the voltage at the terminals.. if all is well and the charger appears to be doing what it should id suspect you have a duff battery.

Multimeter across battery terminals should show at least 13.6v.
If its not charging it will be less than 12.6v.

I think you may find that they are not holding charge.

I think you should take the van to someone that knows what they are doing. I don't mean to come across harsh but you've started numerous threads, and spoken to people that do know about batteries and are no further forward.

Can’t help agreeing with @Eggs . If the advice given in your previous threads has not resolved the problem you probably need some expert help.

Is anything else not working, It has been known for one of the EHU/charger trips to break, but not the others. So you may have some power but the Charger is not on.

I don't know where you live but I live near Portsmouth and would happily come and have a look at your battery problem if you live near by!

I am in Surrey, if you are up this way, I also will check out your charger & Batteries.

I suspect he lives somewhwere near Colyton in Devon. Used to be part of my Patch when I worked and lived Near Yeovil.
