Steering Wheel Wireless Radio Controls , ok or not ?

I am about to buy a new touch screen radio for my motorhome and would like to add steering wheel controls if possible as not factory fitted.
Photo of a typical one available on eBay , is there better.
Has anyone tried them if so do they work

I fitted an Alpine radio in my van and it came with a remote control. It sits in a holster, supplied, in easy reach when driving and when parked is used as a normal remote control in the van.
