If for no other reason than being able to organise your storage locker, then it's a good enough reason.maybe helpful to some.........I cannot see the point of putting a box in another bigger box![]()
I use a box for our 2nd cassette. However careful you are when emptying your cassette I doubt the outside is exactly germ-free. If I need to use the spare cassette then the full one goes in the garage and, without a box to put it in, then other items could touch it (our garage is not particularly big) and potentially get contaminated.maybe helpful to some.........I cannot see the point of putting a box in another bigger box![]()
Fiamma do a slide out under chassis aluminium box.Would like to find away to store a cassette under the van. There seems to be space but not figured how to stow a cassette. No big enough outside storage on our 2012 Bailey. I’m sure able DIYers could fix something but Barry Bucnall I ain’t!![]()
You know me too well Adi ...... of course I have. Two on Tour usually has crevices under his van with stuff neatly under there, I wonder if he’s got a spare cassette under there![]()
I did seem to remember that but wasn't 100% sure
I’ve had a look at Fiamma’s 200+ page pdf catalogue. I can find various boxes but not the box you describe. Do you have an accessible link, please? Thanks.Fiamma do a slide out under chassis aluminium box.

Very ingenious
Indeed, but well outside my capabilities!Very ingenious
You just need a hole in the van floor now and you can fill it in situ
If its air and water tight, why not just tip the contents of the cassette into it. Save carrying a spare cassette. For anybody looking for a sealed storage box for a spare toilet cassette, Costco currently have one that fits a C250/260 cassette perfectly (may fit others) and has an air and water tight sealing lid, all for £15:00. Seems fairly sturdy as well.
