I wildcamp a lot in Spain, and one of the most irksome problems is finding the nearest lavanderia autoservicio to do some clothes washing. (I know I could just go to a campsite, but I prefer not to.)

Trouble is, if you google 'lavanderia', a lot of the results you get will be for industrial laundries, or maybe tintorerias where you have to leave your stuff overnight. This thread is only for coin-operated, self-service launderettes.

Rather than a list of individual premises, which would soon get untidy, here's a list of launderette chains that have several in various locations.

Also, Repsol have lavanderias at some of their filling stations (I saw one in Castellon). Unfortunately, their otherwise comprehensive service station locator does not seem to allow us to search for that facility.

If anyone knows of other launderette chains, feel free to add their websites below.

Really, it would be ideal to have a phone app, but I guess there aren't enough of us to justify creating one.

I found another chain, CLAT:

Saw the one at castelion last week when filling up with gas.
Just wondered what the reasoning was behind having a laundry at a petrol station?

Passing trade, easy for customers to park, staff always on site, high visibility - seems to make good sense to me.

There is a launderette at Repsol garage on the N340 between Torre del Mar and Calletta, they also have an auto gas refill point. Coordinates are:
N 36*44.882
W004*04.978

It seems that the Respol launderettes are run by Lavomatic (see post no. 5 for link), so that makes the search easier. All three I've seen/used have been Lavomatic, for sure.

You have to buy tokens (fichas) in the garage shop, so no need to save up your coins. Detergent is included in the price and is added automatically.

Another chain, KWL-Aqua, with over 100 franchises in Spain:
