Hi,
I am new to the forum but signed up months ago and have been merrily reading away what a wealth of information there is!
I think I am gradually getting my head around solar panels and would be interested in any comments/views etc. on brands/suppliers of solar panels in particular I have seen quite a lot of reference to Bosch and Baird solar panels. Any good bad indifferent views?

Many thanks

Thanks for that I'll go and have a look.

If they are older second hand panels I thought that they break down?

Those 120w second hand panels are very cheap. But I am intrigued why they are being sold. Who would install such a panel then take it off?

Interesting, presumably there was a watts per square metre advantage sufficient to justify the cost of changing.

Or the panels are crap, who knows, but they seem to have a whole load of them. Why risk it when a brand new one is so cheap now ?

Agree also seen a few bad reports on cheap ebay ones, last van I fitted one from ebay that was OK. For the sake of 20 quid a panel decided to go for slightly better ones.

Thanks everyone for your replies. After much thought I have agreed a spec with the dealer, after much reading on many forums, which I think is fair with an MPPT controller. As this our first and new MH I have chicken out of drilling holes in the roof despite all the help I know I would get on the forum! There will be plenty of time for that in the future I am sure.
