So, what is the etiquette when it comes to a generator?

A lot of places allow them from 10.00-20.00 hrs for a couple of hours at a time.
I hate them at any time and if it’s doing your head in have a word or complain to the site owner.

Say, you had one, but found it annoying yourself. Would it be a good idea to put it 10m away around the back of your caravan, so it wasn't as loud to you - and instead was noisy to the motorhome behind you?

Then say, for instance, you were in that motorhome. Would that be "probable cause"?

😁👍

We ask Funsters attending one of our events to fess up in advance and put them in the "Naughty corner" along with others who have similar social and anti social vices, like portable pampas grass plants outside their units. :whistle2::rofl:

Probable cause for what?
Sugar or sand in the tank sounds good to me.

I find even the quietest generators really annoying if on a site have a word with the warden or site owner.

Think I'll wait until tomorrow (would be too sarcastic tonight) and casually strike up a conversation about how we'll solar can work.

Think this is something I will just have to get used too 😊

Give us more 'meat' to work with ... where are you, where is the genny in relation to you and the 'owner' etc

What about RV owners then?, their gennies automatically fire up when they use their on board hot tubs, and mains powered laundromats .

It does not, granted, but ask before condemning, if it was after say 6pm I would be the first with a complaint but would ask if it was really necessary ( Eastenders/Corrie/neighbours are not necessary!) I will bring mine to annoy you! Say from midnight to 6am?

Really not a prob. Just venting 😊

No way am I going to complain or have a word tonight, I'd feel awful if they needed the power so their child can watch something to send them to sleep etc.

I mean I did consider attaching a rope to the genny, then snagging the back of a 4x4 as it drove past, but not for long 😂

On the move, how does that work?
You can get Onan gennies on US RV's or Dometic on Eurovans.

I use ours on the back of the bike rack.
