Can anyone recommend a reliable smoke and CO detector for a van please, ideally one with a flashing light alert too. Seem to be so many on the market not sure which to trust.

Since 2008 & many years tugging
We use Fire Angle ones in the house and van.
Optical smoke detectors are best in the van we use their Atom one very small and compact.

Fire Angel, recommended by our local Fire Service as being ideal for Motorhome.

I second those paul8a, great size works a treat (or does when I test!) And does not look out of place,

Does the fireAngel Atom have any visual signal on it too? (eg little flashy led)

I'm deaf as a door post and whilst it's not likely I'll be in the van without either my dogs or friends probably best to have somehting flashy too, the escape light ones look ideal

As far as I can see only the SCO5Q FireAngel one does both CO2 and fire.
