My cooker handle has come off on one side and I need some help please as I cannot work out how to get to the back of it. Photos attached, any suggestions, would be brilliant as top is riveted and bottom is screwed One pic is of the bolt holding the one side on the other is behind the brown panel, if I remove the inner glass I can just get one finger on it but no tools!

Once you undo the screw on top of the door it should release the doors grip on the glass enough and it will slide out to allow access.
You can either slide it all the way out or if you dont fancy getting it fully out then remove the inner glass so you can access from the rear with only a few inches of front glass sliding.
That's how it works on my 2003 smev

Thanks the top by the hinge is riveted. I didn’t want to force sliding the glass, do you think it’s should slide? Would make sense

Mine is riveted the same at hinge end, glass is a stiff fit into the grooves top and bottom due to the time its sat in there
I can take pics tomorrow glass in and out if you want

If I understand you correctly by loosening the screw at the outer edge of the door it should allow the door to slide out away from the hinge end. If it's tight a squirt of silicone spray or similar along the 'slots' and let it find it's way in for a few minutes may make it easier to slid out and back in.

Yes, if you put your thumbs against the inner metal..where the inner glass was then wrap fingers around the end of the glass it will not stress the hinge end when trying to get the glass to slide
If that makes sense

Thank you. I’ll have another go when I pop to the storage (I pop often to get my motorhome fix!)
