Slow Fun.

Did not know where to post this but just a quick query
Is it just me (and my equipment) or is any other Funsters finding that this forum is running slower than it used to
Sometimes takes 2 or 3 attempts to load a page.????

Mines is slow but that’s because my signal with with 3 is anywhere between .02 and 12 m

Nope not Wi-Fi.. everything else works fine.... Maybe Jim's way of reminding me subs are due.

Try clearing the cache & history on your PC, most slow running comes from failure to look after your PC.

Same here, i had an issue yesterday & reported it to Gromett , he kindly responded & found no fault his end, i restarted my router which solved the issue, but now the problem has returned, restarting the router makes no difference this time & B..T state they have no faults in my area.

As was the case yesterday, every other website i visit works as i expect it to, so in my case at least it's not lack of maintenance on my part, even typing this now takes an age & when i press the '' post reply '' button in a sec' it'll take ages to send.

I can only suggest restarting your router, which worked for me yesterday, & restarting your device too, as you can see in my earlier post i have highlighted Grommets name so he is now at least aware.

It's soooooooooooooooooooooo frustrating ! Loading a smiley or simply checking one's alerts takes ages

Thanx all... Checked on laptop and that seems fine so have restarted phone and yippee that's seems to have done the trick.. Funs appears to be back up to speed..... Suppose I owe Jim an apology....Sorry Jim

The best first course of action if you ever have issues with anything like this is always to turn off the equipment and leave it for a few minutes then restart it ... same as we were always taught in the past when we had PCs that had issues ... closely followed by the lump hammer!

Mine is slow and pages keep locking. Driving me dotty. Only Fun with the problem. Loads quickly, logs in ok but then problems as stated.

I was wondering whether it is when several people are reading/participating in a thread at the same time?

You may be right movan As stated i restarted phone and seemed to resolve issue but maybe i was lucky and as you say it may depends on how many Funsters are having Fun.
Will wait and see if it continues to be resolved...but it is heartening to know i am not only one having issues,
