Does anyone know if there is an LNB upgrade available. We use an Alden AS4 satellite system with our Sky+HD box and all works perfectly in our Motorhome. In the near future we will be hopefully upgrading our Sky box to the newer Q version that supports 4K broadcasts.
I thought maybe by now there might be an upgrade LNB to facilitate the newer technology now on offer.

There is a LNB available but I do not know what is required you need to speak to Jackson satellites or oyster tech? They would advise on what you need.??

Fitted one to friends oyster dish last year.
One lead from lnb to oyster box then Set oyster box to sky hd receiver as normal.
(Which friend has set up in bedroom in rv)
Then fitted one lead from lnb direct to the sky Q box which is set up in front of his Rv.
Once the dish as locked on as normal you then can use the sky Q box.

Many thanks for the reply’s I’ll look into it, hopefully straightforward.

I asked Roadpro if there was an upgrade for their 40cm dome but that was some time ago when they were "working on it".

We regards to the Hybrid LNB working with an Oyster system the short answer is yes however if you have an Autoskew system then unfortunately the neck of the LNB is not long enough to fit in the Autoskew bracket. Non Skew systems will work without an issue however you would have to get creative to make it work with an autoskew system.
If you have an autoskew system and would like to receive Sky Q then we can offer a solution but it would mean a significant upgrade to the system you have.
