Whilst having a few days in the Portsmouth area to attend a school reunion I took the opportunity to meet up with Del- Novawight at the Ship Inn Langstone. Del brought a bottle of homemade firewater that will not survive Christmas, thanks Del.
The views from here were stunning, to the left is the old mill at Langstone village
whilst in front is Hayling Island
you can see I was there early to see the sun come up.
I spent the night on the Quay, it has been a while since the grain barges tied up here
the Royal oak is not too far away either.
I considered getting the fishing rods out but had places to be. Another day,,,,,,,,,,, oh yes another day. I spent hours fishing here as a kid. Was great to be back.
