Hello All,

I am compiling a list of spare parts, that I am to import from UK for my 2000 Hobby 750 FMSe. Does anyone here have part numbers/details for the shocks, brakes and wheel bearings for this model? It has the AL-KO tag axle setup. Thanks in advance!

HobbyCanada, I ordered my rear ALKO tandem axle sock absorbers from the Augustin Group, saving myself a couple of hundred quid over UK supplier prices. That was three years ago, and I am still waiting for certain UK suppliers to get back to me re availability and price.

Augustin can also supply the ALKO double yoke handbrake cables.

My front suspension struts (heavy duty Boge units ) came from a local trusted Motor Factor.

If Coastal Motorhomes aren't able to supply, try the above. (y)

Good luck in not getting ripped off from UK suppliers. ;)

BTW, if not already aware, the rear wheels, drum brake assemblies, and bearings are all Fiat parts, and not ALKO.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

For the Fiat parts, front, you would need to know what weight chassis it’s built on, if it’s got 16” wheels most probably Q18 ,1800kg.
This blog on Facebook, they did their front suspension, https://www.facebook.com/OurTour/
Also these are the parts somebody else used on the Hymer

Those are the ones. (y) Despite me and my mechanic telling the Motor Factor which ones we wanted/needed, they ordered the lower capacity ones (Q16), ie, what they thought we needed. They had to go back thereby delaying the job by a couple of days, whilst waiting for the proper ones. :(

Thanks for this. Is there a part number for the Alko Shocks or is there just one type?
