We're booked up for the bank holiday in May,
is there a prefered part of the site which is best to pitch up and avoid the rowdies others have mentioned?

I've been in the week and have seen the difference.. was just wondering, or am i worrying over nothing?

Same sex groups are not allowed so what rowdies do you mean?

I was referring to mixed rowdies.
I know we're all young once I just fancy a spot a bit quieter..

I'm not knocking the place, we've been going years for day trips only, so know what the score is
regarding busy bank holiday weekends..

I only asked the question as i was under the impression the busiest places to camp will be by the sand dunes and main beach area, so i was wondering where peoples preferred places to pitch up was regarding get away from the busiest area

We camped facing West over the beach.
Some awesome sunsets :-)

If you want quiet keep away from the dunes. This is a photo of my favoured pitch with views both sides.

I prefer the area just before the little harbour. As you know you can't choose your neighbours so it's a bit of a lottery.:(

Last time I was there some rowdy buggers called Bungy & Forestboy parked next to me. They were partying, partying, partying all night up to 22:30.

:DNever again:LOL:

You've both confirmed what I thought, so I'll take a look when I get there

We have booked Sat to Sat end of April while the sproggs are in Skool  :D

Yep, best time to go looks like in the week when kids are in school and weekend holiday makers are in work. Looking at all the negative reviews on trip advisor just confirms that bank holidays at their busiest period are bound to be the worst time to go really...

It's the Acid House Ravers you need to steer clear of - I believe they fly yellow smiley flags above their pitches.

Back of the site re dunes trees seem to be gangs nearer the front ideally where snowbird says I think hes on our pitch
have a great time.
