Amazing they avoid getting their kites all tangled up

They also managed to zip between moored boats as well!

One did have a mishap yesterday and was dragged towards the jetty. Luckily his kite got snagged and stopped him before any damage was caused.

Hagstrom Ros and Norman arrived yesterday, bearing my new derailier.

We had a boring walk (advertised here on the Stellplatz) and a non boring meal and evening.

There are baby Swallows in a nest over the washing up place and a have flown the nest except for one .

Today we did a washing catch up then had a bike ride I'd found on Komoot and sent to Martin for his guiding expertise.

22miles or about 35km of very pleasant riding, except for the bit passing the lakes and trying to avoid the cowpats .

We did pass a small natural area with a shepherdess with her sheep and goats. Not something we expected to see in Germany.

Then we stopped to look at a long barrow burial site (excavated and rebuilt).

Ros(in the long barrow) reading the information boards.

And a huge (taller than wind turbines) tower for what???

Then a bumpy, cow pat avoiding ride past more lakes.

On arrival back, more washing done (cycle shorts that could almost move on their own) whilst Ros prepared food and Martin and Norman put my new derailleur on my bike.

Food (and drink) consumed and onward planning needed.

It had a couple of dishes and masts but it was sooo big Norman and Martin think it must have another function.

It was taller than a wind turbine. And they're tall!

We left our overnight in Germany because rain was forecast for the next three days.

We shopped in different locations due to a misunderstanding between the men! (a good start to a trip together)!!! But met up again just over the Danish border.

Two hours of driving took us though the wet weather to the other side and a free parking area that Ros and Norman used last year.

We now have Belgian registered van, neighbours. Flying a Danish flag. Very confusing.

Had a walk along the coast.

Woke to light rain but the sky looked promising with blue patches.

In my role as accomodation/activity coordinator I had found us a parking place near the sea through which went a mountain bike ride I'd also found.

For later, from the very same parking, there is a walk to a castle and a fishing from dinghy option.

My late request for good weather came good and we've had a sunny day around the 23° mark.

Halfheartedly looked at ferries!

Ros and I went to the castle.

Martin's gone out in the dinghy. We've seen him through the bino's attached to a bouy!

Norman sat on guard at the motorhomes reading a book.

Now having a Friday evening Chinese.

Weather order was put in early for today and came good.

We drove to a parking place for a Dolmen that had much needed water! It was also part way round a 12km walk I'd found that took us back into yesterday's lovely area.

Our walk was lovely but had a lot of short, steep climbs and descents. No-one complained .

Clark Courgettes!!! Barbecued salmon and spicy prawns and a salad of avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, basil (need to be able to keep it on the plate in the breeze!) and goats cheese.

I think it went down well. Especially with a glass of German white!
